March 15/08: We have purchased La Paz Jivago from Summerwind Marchadors. This is another wonderful step forward to establishing the Marchadors here in Canada. It will be so exciting to have him here with us! Watch for an update of his arrival.

April 25-27/08: Come and see us at the Mane Event in Red Deer, Alberta. We have a booth booked at the trade show. It should be a great time with some great clinicians and of course the Trainers Challenge.

Jan 11-13/08: I attended the Horse Breeders and Owners Conference at the Capri Centre in Red Deer, Alberta. It was a wonderful time. I met some wonderful people and saw some others I had not seen in a very long time. On Sunday Canada Equine On-Line did an interview with me about the Marchadors. It will be broadcasted on their web page but I don't know the date yet.

It was great meeting so many people, especially Sylvia Schneider (Canada Equine On-Line), Diana Balbar (Canada Equine On-Line), Donna O'Neil (who has just brought some Caspian horses to Alberta), and of course Dianne Little (Director for the Alberta Walking Horse Assoc, Canadian Registry of the Tennessee Walking Horse, as well as Director of Juges for the Independent Judges Association), also many others.

Nov 13/07: The Chronicle Herald in Halifax, Nova Scotia printed the Red Deer article on us in their newspaper. I was shocked when I found out about that. Thank you very much Chronicle Herald for sending me a copy!

Oct 15/07: The Central Alberta Life came out and did an article on Vedete. It was published in the Central Alberta Life newspaper as well as Red Deer Advocate. Word is getting out about the Marchadors!

Oct 14/07: Took Vedete on a cattle drive. She did wonderful and seemed to enjoy working the cattle.

Aug 24/07: The Stettler Weekender newspaper   printed an article on Vedete being the first Marchador in Canada.
