Doc is an exceptional mare with a wonderful temperament. She loves people, comes when called, and gets along great with dogs. She is easy to catch, stands well for the farrier, and loads well. She has nice conformation and good solid feet. Learns new things quickly.
I started Doc’s saddle training in 2008. She was lunging excellent under saddle. Summer of 2009 I started riding her. She was coming along great with no buck or other issues at all. I ran out of time so we decided to send her out to a trainer to finish her. I brought her home early due to abusive treatment by the trainer. She will now need her under saddle training started again.
Doc produces foals that have nice conformation, wonderful dispositions, are easy to work with and train. Add her to your broodmares or restart her saddle training and put her to work with cattle or even just trail riding. She is an excellent mother and has not had any issues with foaling. She has had two beautiful foals for us.
Doc is homozygous for black and agouti. She can only produce buckskin or perlino foals.
The only reason she is for sale is because we are no longer breeding. She was one of our main broodmares. She has not been bred back.
HERDA N/N
Doc will have to remain on our property until weaning time as she has a foal at side.
